There are a number of really good changes that are going to happen, but I still sorta feel like the design vision for the game they wanted to create does not match up to the game I want to play. Diablo is about killing hordes of demons while listening to jangly chords. The mob density, resource generation, and long cooldown issues are really what is standing in the way of this game being much better. I also cannot fathom doing the renown grind every season…
I come from diablo 1.and diablo 2. I feel like idea of “the hordes of demons” came from D3 if anything else. Monster density in 1 and 2 was never that high. Especially in diablo 1. The only time I remember it being high at all in D2 was cow level.
