How would this be sustained then? Donations? Also since it is hosted by a Malaysian, I’m assuming MCMC can come down much harder on this and shut it down easier than reddit if there are any content violations.

There is protocol to follow for them. They have to ask for content take down first before actually shutting down. And i think the server isn’t hosted in Malaysia.
Yep all of the above. We don’t have a .my domain name or host and it’s cheap to keep running. I’m sponsoring this initial period but if this becomes an ongoing thing we’ll probably figure out donations or something, so the community can properly own the server. It’s real cheap though, honestly
