Which one I prefer is a good question. On mbin, I like the smoother UI, and the existing Mastodon integration (but not perfect), it seems that old federation problems from kbin are more or less solved.
Feel like that lemmy is still the default app, has more clients (Alexandrie on Web) and sometimes less delay to federated.
Vous ici ? Do you mean why i’m here ? Or o you want tp invite us on mbin ? 😁
Thank for the feedback, i might consider mbin if they create a mobile app. For now, i’m waiting for iceshrimp next update in late december 2024. They are rewriting iceshrimp in C and they will support lemmy soon.
But imho, jlai.lu should ditch lemmy and move toward mbin or piefed/sublinks. I hope there is migration tool. We should talk about it soon.
Jlai.lu needs the connection with mastodon for increasing their activities and ensure its long term experience.
We can have both : a live chat (mastodon) or discussion geared toward some topic (lemmy/mbin/piefed…)

We’ll see how it evolves in the future.
Also vous ici :)
