I was really enjoying this game for a couple weeks, and plan to go back to it after it gets a few updates. Just started to get Ground Hog’s Day fatigue after a while. The same critters keep spawning in the same places, over and over again. Gets tedious after a while. Had the same problem playing Small Land. Love the exploring and all, but monotonous critter spawns. Hoping they’ll implement some randomness once they develop the game more.
My friend and I tried to get into Abiotic Factor, I love the setting, I love the premise, but we had a very difficult time getting a foot hold where we were just dying of starvation over and over. I need to circle back and try the game again, the same thing happened with Subnautica, took a few tries to get enough momentum to get established and have fun exploring.
One of you needs to be dedicated cook…why didn’t you cook? Grow food too…and cook it.
Once you get soup, which is early…it’s stupid easy
We didn’t catch the fact that the rubble covered stove in the cafeteria early on works. So we never found a way to cook food, eventually we found another oven, but it was broken and we had no idea where to get the parts to repair it. We went back to the beginning to cook food, but the logistics of trying to haul things with our limited inventories back and forth to get food and also explore became unfun so we quit.
Yeaaaah I can see that. We beat what was in the game before this update from the starting area lol never really built anything elsewhere
In solo, soups can last you the entire game.
I love that the devs keep adding more foods to cook and mess with though. The chef RP possibilities with this game are growing quite a bit
