My current Pixel 6 pro is still thinner (though wider) than many of the first cellphones I used. I’m not personally interested in foldables, though. I work outside in the literal dirt a lot and that dust gets everywhere and can gum things up.
So instead of keeping a phone roughly the size of a pocket in your pocket, they expect us to want to put “bricks” in our pockets that unfold into phones.
