100%. That shit needs to be displayed like nutritional info or cigarette health warnings.
While I agree, companies collude and soon we have no options.
Moreover, companies often unilaterally decide to cripple something you already have a paywall it after the fact (case in point, this garbage bassinet)
This is where regulation should come in and make this shit illegal
How long before some custom firmware is written for the device to activate all the paywalled features?

The kind of people who would spend $1700 on something like this aren’t the kind of people to track down/install custom firmware.
Expect more of this kind of thing in the ‘ai revolution’.
