    I love Cuarón’s cinematography in PoA, but it was the movie where they started drifting a bit too far away from the book canon. I hope we see more traditional wizard robes in the new show.

      Damn these kids and their Muggle fashion trends! Would you believe my son doesn’t even OWN a robe?!? No respect or decency in young wizards today!

      The harry potter movies were almost directed by Terry Gilliam. We’ll never know what could’ve been :/

            He also did some fairly dark stuff. Like tideland or fear and loathing.

            They’d have definitely been interesting.

      I mean, weren’t they still wearing their robes during class in PoA and later films? Even in philosopher’s stone they wear sweaters and pants during christmas break.
