Shame it’s an MMO. Looks pretty though.
I’m quite happy it’s an MMO type game. Adds a whole lot more depth and interesting end-game mechanics.
I believe you could still play it as a single-player game, but you’ll probably miss out on the PvP specific content.
From my quick search and bad memory, it can be played solo, but it looks like combat requires a group to enable all the feats and abilities. Doesn’t look like they’re implementing a solo build that can do it without some serious grind. But I’m sure someone will game out a solution.
I will probably still take it for a quick spin if the reviews are good, but as an old dude who can’t dedicate time to MMOs to be good at them, I’d just rather all games be made to suit my particular tastes. /s
Lost all interest once I saw it was an mmo.
Looks good! I am a bit worried about it being an MMO, but Funcom has a lot of experience with making them. So might be good?
I’m especially looking forward to the interactions with sand worms and the thumper mechanics.
