Member when they said there was no need for a Pro this generation?
Biggest benefit of the pro was boosting that awful CPU for breathing room. Letting people pay a little more for a little more eye candy is fine; it shouldn’t be the difference in how playable some games are like it was last gen.
I might be dumb but I don’t think it would be useful to slow down development in order to release your game alongside the game ps5 pro.
It would mean paying developers but not letting them work as efficiently as they can just to postpone the release date.
If it meant no crunch time, I ‘d understand, but otherwise…
