    The officer pulls out a bag from the man’s pocket and asks, “What was in the bags, man?” He hands what turns out to be an empty bag to another officer, who hands it to the officer who ultimately throws it in the back seat of the vehicle.

    Yeah, I get why the passenger video went viral, but this also isn’t anything. However, I can very much imagine someone getting arrested on a bogus charge and no bodycam video being released had there been no citizen video, so I think the uproar is justified.

    When the video exonerates police, it’s released. When it’s damning, it (often) isn’t. This happens a lot, though we have no way of tallying real numbers because police departments can’t be trusted to police themselves.
