Oh yeah, you’re not wrong. Makes me happy I had a motorcycle when I drove. Rented a car once and read through the manual. Amazed it had a camera built into the dash to monitor how aware the driver was.
the active listening article is very vague and apart from fantasizing about 24/7 surveillance everywhere for everyone it doesn’t say a whole lot directly, so in my mind it’s best to assume the worst case scenario
I’ll check out the link in a bit, probably haven’t seen it though. Wouldn’t be surprised if I was wrong. I’m not the brightest. If I was wrong, then thanks for correcting me, even if it was slightly jerkish.

After the recent news (again) that advertisers are actively listening to the microphone on your devices 24/7, I’m gonna hard pass on this.
Title is funny as hell though.
Wait til you see what your car is picking up
That only applies to people with cars that are less than around 10yrs old.

that are less than around 10yrs old.Problem is with all the sensors and cameras surrounding modern cars they are also recording stuff happening around them.

Got a source on that? I love that this rumor goes around every few months and nicely reminds me which communities are full of terrible media literacy.

What do you think of the discussion here? Do you still believe the sensational headline?
(Also way to prove my point)

In other words you choose to believe what you want to believe and don’t care about facts. Neat.
I’ll gladly believe something else if they claim something else, but their claims are very dystopian

I’ll give an update when I can. Until later.
