Does this matter at all? They still haven’t ruled on his 2016 campaign finance case. If this went just as fast, he might be punished by 2032, and he might still appeal it.

At least if he’s not dead, which he most likely will be.

The US legal system is a joke.

At this point it’s only worth it if it catches his kids and or their spouses and disqualifies them from future elected office as well.

Heh, lol no. His daughter and son-in-law stole a bunch of money by grifting on PPE during the pandemic, killing a bunch of Americans in the process, with no reprecussions.

It’s like expecting Russia to try Putin for war crimes, except maybe there is more hope even there, since an opponent might want to dispose of him if the situation turns around on him.

To put a finer point on it, Kushner was stealing SO MUCH PPE from hospitals and state health depts that they had to have shipments fly in at the dead of night, to small local airports and rural airfields, because otherwise Kushner’s Department of Health might show up and “commandeer” all of it to be resold at a markup.

It’s true. In Massachusetts they had to use the NE Patriots plane to hide a shipment of PPE from China and protect it with the national guard (state military force):

For weeks, Baker has warned that Massachusetts is in desperate need of more protective equipment including masks, sanitizing wipes and gowns for health care workers on the front lines of the coronavirus crisis, especially as cases are expected to surge sometime between April 7 and April 17 in Massachusetts.

The Republican governor has raised those concerns with Trump. He told the president the federal government was outbidding Massachusetts on equipment — even after advising states to work on getting their own supplies. A week later, the Bay State was still being outbid and had only received a fraction of what it requested from the Strategic National Stockpile. Baker grew increasingly frustrated at a recent news conference, saying he’d seen confirmed orders for millions of pieces of gear “evaporate” before his eyes.
