I have seen this story around for the past few days and everytime I read it all I can think is “jesus fucking christ!”.

Ummm, sounds pretty fucking mentally ill to me.
Not knowing anything about French law, I’m assuming if he’s regarded as mentally ill he may receive a more lenient sentence. Purely on those grounds, I hope he’s regarded as being of sound mind so he’s put away for as long as possible
