@BakedGoods You mean “AI made creating art accessible for those who don’t want to do the work.” Anyone could ALWAYS make art. They could write or draw, hone their craft all they want. It’s not a magic ability only afforded to corporate-sponsored people, it’s a skill that people build.
Yes, you can ask AI to write a story for you, or you can sit down and write it yourself. Yes, you can ask it to produce a portrait of a person you imagined, or you can get a pencil and learn to draw people yourself.
But the way we are using AI, people are going to ONLY be able to exercise that skill in their spare time and those who had already developed it are going to spend their days correcting the mistakes of AI and cleaning it up for publication.
