Ah, I’m sorry I know this isn’t the point, but the depicted movement doesn’t hit biceps or shoulders at all. That’s like a lat pulldown and a tricep extension. Maybe a little hamstring activation too depending on what happens with the head after

If it’s done correctly, it should really only be hitting the C4 or C5 vertebral region; anything else is just poor form.

And poor people still die homeless in the street.

You’d think pitchforks would sell well. But apathy seems incurable, as people appear to have internalized staggering levels of inequality as a fact of normal life.

It’s not apathy, it’s fatigue… Growing up poor is brutal.

I’m not talking about the poor: as you say, they’re tired and the assaults of ultra-capitalism are relentless.

I’m talking about the middle class which, in the eyes of the ultra-rich, is just as insignificant as the ultra-poor, and is really only a few paychecks away from the same fate.

Middle class people happily ignores the fate of their fellow man in the street, bow their head and say nothing, believing if they don’t make too much fuss, the ultra-rich will maintain the status quo and they won’t do too badly.

That’s us. WE should pick up the pitchfork. We have the energy and we have a good reason, because really, we’re just slightly better than the poor and we pay a lot more taxes than the ultra-billionnaire sumbitches. But we don’t.

Leon Musk might be proud being the lead oligarch in a starving and ailing world, but something has to change soon.

I hope the oligarchs get what they deserve.

He was never going to go Mars. The first trips to Mars will be extremely dangerous - think the early Viking settlements of North America (they all died). There will of course be far more systematic prep for mars, but the the environment is also far far more hostile. These oligarchs like themselves too much to take risks like that with their lives, or work that hard under constant peril .

Idk remember the whole largely untested sub knocking off a billionaire. I think there’s potential that billionaires think themselves indestructible because wealth will shield them somehow. I’m more than ok if Elon flies his ass to mars, I’m truly hopping it doesn’t go well for him. I mean to say best wishes Elon.

I don’t think we should call these people billionaires if it is all reliant on the value of their stocks. If it ain’t taxable it doesn’t exist.

It might also get rid of the “I lost money” or call it theft if their stock plunges and then whine for bailouts for money they imagined they could have but never actually became theirs.

Seems like a really dumb estimation. This report is solely relying on if the certain billionare will be able to keep up with their 100%+ wealth grow.

Excellent, we definitely don’t need even 1% of that wealth down in the lower/middle class. Hoarding for bragging rights totally makes sense!

I think the right in America has succeeded in making America a bad place to live. I don’t think the political will exists to make meaningful change. The enshittification is well entrenched.

Hey, read all the way to the end, they make a really good point. I could’ve copied and pasted it here as a quote, but I would feel bad copying half of the article. It’s not long

I realize that it was dumb of me not giving more context. Sorry about that.

They talk about one of his posts on X, where he shares his appreciation for an interview between Tucker Carlson and Darryl Cooper.

Cooper claimed in the interview that the Nazis did not mean to murder so many people when they carried out the Holocaust and killed 6 million Jews during the second world war. Instead, Cooper remarked, Adolf Hitler’s Nazi regime simply was not equipped to care for them – and the podcaster blamed the British prime minister Winston Churchill for “that war becoming what it did”.

        And then:

The billionaire announced in August that he was supporting Donald Trump as the Republican nominee seeks a second presidency in November’s election. Kamala Harris, the Democratic vice-president, is also running in the election.
