Only I and Lae’zel dont have darkvision, but I can cast Light. However, when I cast on myself nothing happens. When I cast on Lae’zel, she lights up the area. What gives?
Do you have a weapon equipped? Light actually buffs the weapon, not the character.
Yes, of course. I have two daggers and a crossbow equipped. And if it would buff the lute used to cast, that’s shown on my back so it should still work.
Light buffs my staff. And when I look at the staff it glows and the details says light on it.
I am a wizard with the cantrip of light.
Maybe it’s a bug?
It’s gotta be a bug; I got it to work after casting it a bunch of times. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn’t.
Darkvision is helpful while in combat and I have plenty of scrolls but I, the player looking at the screen, want to see things lit up better than the cone it provides.
