For Harry’s dragon they didn’t get to see jack shit since he flew off to the school.
I always figured they had some kinda magical display so they could actually view what was happening each round.

That was a movie addition :) In the books, he stayed in the arena.

I hope they did. Otherwise, the second and third tasks would be pretty boring…
They do mention for the third one that all the people outside the arena know is the sparks they’re shooting out of their wand so I can’t imagine what they do for hours when nothing interesting happens.
My head canon is that they had “screens” to show what was happening during the two last tasks
