    I’ve never read this. But reading the title reminds me of post-game League lobbies where people would drop locations for a fist fight.

    I don’t think they ever push through but its pretty funny sometimes lol

      There is precedent. I remember a news story about somebody that spent months tracking down a virtual opponent to stab them after losing a knife fight in Counter Strike (archive link).

        That’s nothing compared to the shit i’ve seen involving Eve Online. And I’ve had my life threatened a few times after rolling for loot.

          Oh man, you just brought back a flood of memories. I played Eve for (checks notes) 12 years. The metagaming in that community is insane.
