Mission info
SpaceX Crew-9 is the ninth operational crewed rotation mission of a Crew Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station. The original intended crew comprised Commander Zena Cardman, Pilot Nick Hague, Mission Specialist Stephanie Wilson, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Mission Specialist Aleksandr Gorbunov.
NASA has since decided to launch Crew-9 with only 2 crew members to allow the 2 Starliner CFT crew to return on Crew-9. The mission’s commander will be Nick Hague and Aleksandr Gorbunov will be a mission specialist.

Static fire test of Falcon 9 complete. Targeting Saturday, September 28 for launch of Crew-9 to the @space_station
Teams will lower and roll Falcon 9 and Dragon back to the hangar at pad 40 tonight due to Tropical Storm Helene’s unfavorable impact on weather conditions at the launch site on Thursday

With Hurricane Helene out of the way, Crew-9 is back outside at pad 40. Shown below are two of the critical teams that support launch at the Cape. Both the Safety and Pad teams work 24/7, 365 to keep the machine running and our team safe. A huge thank you to the men and women of SpaceX for their dedication to making life multi planetary!!!
