We have a few subscribers now, let’s see if we can get a discussion going. What are your 2023 bold predictions? Or the next season, 2024?

My bold prediction - Bears compete for wildcard spot in 2023. By 2024 they win the division and go on a long stretch of NFC North dominance.

I don’t know honestly. I’m still worried about the defense and how much talent we have on our D-line and how much effort is going to be required of the LBs and DBs because of it. If the offense comes out swinging and if we’re still losing games like we ended last year, I honestly won’t be disappointed: I had more fun during that stretch last year than I’ve ever had watching the Bears.

ETA: realized I didn’t have a bold prediction, so here it is: Justin Fields wins a Super Bowl by the end of the decade.

      With the Bears, right? RIGHT?

Fields takes a huge leap forward and is suddenly in the MVP conversation, before ultimately missing out to someone on a better team with more wins overall. Hey, you asked for bold!

Last season the defense was a big reason we lost some games. With some more talent from this off-season they could have a better record. Big take, they just need to score more points than the other team

I think we can get a winning record this year. The offense is much improved, and even though I think the defense is still bad, it has gotten better. 10-7 or 11-6 would be my prediction. Oh and we beat green bay twice, I am not convinced by Jordan Love

Beating the packers twice would make my season, wildcard or not. We haven’t done that since 2007!

Yeah I agree. Unless love or whoever the next qb they draft is amazing I could see the packers having a bad couples of years while the bears and lions are on the upswing

With any luck, Green Bay goes the way of the Pats. First year after Brady was hilarious, and no one is afraid of them any more

I think we’ll get around 9 wins with things starting to pick up by the end of the season as everyone gets used to playing with the same people next to them.
