Like, imagine a magical satellite system that automatically shoots down all missiles from all nations. Using weapons to destroy weapons is a wonderful thing for peace. Unfortunately any such system would be selectively activated by whoever controlled it.
Yeah, agreed. I don’t have a viable solution (I wish I controlled my various government representatives, but alas!), but even perfect solutions would be ruined by people. People are why we can’t have nice things. :(
