The BER has a battery powerful enough for a 70 mile ride, but you can’t tell from the outside
Sleek designs are neat and all but based on their description I’m left wondering: How do we replace the battery when it goes? They don’t specifically say it’s user replaceable.
Yeah, generally the answer is you can’t. My wife had a Faraday while they were around, and while it was a super cool design, replacing the battery was a hassle and a half even for our local bike shop (who spent 2 months asking Faraday for schematics and maintenance instructions, incidentally 🙃 ).
Just what we need: More e-waste!
Isn’t it kinda pointless though? You can see the hub drive right there in the front wheel, which tells you it’s an electric bike. I don’t understand why you’d hide the battery and thus make it hard to replace/repair instead of just making the battery more aesthetically pleasing, given that you can’t hide the fact its an ebike
