Because they’re beating up the street protesters, who are his found family.

Also revenge for the hundreds of dogs cops shoot every year why not.

Anarchists think if we destroy all control structures, human beings will just hold hands and dance in a big circle celebrating friendship forever.

        That’s a strawman.

It’s a lot harder to imagine a world governed by non-hierarchical structures than it is to imagine one more similar to the current one, infested with hierarchical structures.

And it’s easy to see anarchists as simply destructive since we love to talk about tearing down these oppressive structures, but people (and some anarchists) tend to forget that anarchism is also about building new systems. Some people tend to operate in the break shit then build shit mindset, but a lot of modern theory is about building the new in the shell of the old as a revolutionary act.

Plus, anarchism is not the “opposition of control structures” it is the opposition of hierarchical structures, which is different.

The Zapatistas are an anarchistic group that have existed since the 90s. While not “pure anarchism,” something they never sought out to do (they follow Zapatismo, their own ideology), they are very anarchistic in structure. And to think that a system that currently exists is impossible is just silly.

The society in Indus River Valley civilization was stateless. It was also the most advanced civilizations in northern India/Pakistan, perhaps the entire world for that time - they figured out agriculture, architecture, pottery, trading, usage of script as well as urbanization, which was remarkable during the Bronze age. And do remember, this was before the birth of Christ, when they figured out sewer systems, which were lost and then seen much later in any Indian civilizations. So your mockery of the anarchist idea about “holding hands and celebrating” is absolute nonsense - because it has been done before.

Like how we had slavery and colonialism all the way upto the 21st century under “based” capitalism? How ironic that even under blue pigs, women don’t have it easy and could not vote almost a hundred years ago? Oh, looks like “lesser of the other evils” system is trash anyway.

We’d just end up with an easily exploited social hierarchy, not much different from the trillion dollar companies of today

Cops are the legalized thugs of the state, the violent arm of private property. They are the natural enemy of all active left organizers, being the people that will actually shoot you when you do work against capital (including against cops themselves). This runs a wide range. They break up strikes by union workers. They shoot protesters. They arrest those who do direct action against particularly oppressive projects like the Keystone Pipeline XL. They harass anyone that looks a certain way. They enforce evictions.

Matapocos was a street dog that attended protests in Santiago Chile and bit cops because they attacked protesters. He was reportedly then semi-adopted and taken care of by left organizers.
