Politicians in Germany think that climate activist Greta Thunberg should be banned from entering the country over her participation in pro-Palestinian protests

I’ve read about it in a German article and the explanation is that it’s something different to be demonstrating for Palestine or to be pro Hamas. The latter one is the reason Greta Thunberg is criticized.

I don’t know what her view on Hamas is, but I’d be surprised if it were positive. Everyone protesting Israel’s genocide is accused of being pro Hamas 100 times a second, so I think that explanation is weak on its face.

I just repeated what the article in Germany says. There is no point to downvote me for giving context.

German Fridays for Future considers renaming themselves to distantiate themselves from Greta, too.

Maybe all that is not as simple as people say.

I didn’t down vote you, for what it’s worth. I just felt like adding my two cents. Every time someone criticizes Israel they get accused of being pro Hamas, so that’s why I’m skeptical of that particular claim. That’s all.
