I’ve kept mine disconnected from the internet. I worry eventually that they will force it to be online to be used.
The only real risk from 5G is that connectivity will be cheap enough that these objects don’t need to ask.
Do they come with receivers to pick it up already? if so, that’s pretty sketchy
Not to my knowledge. But dwindling costs and ballooning greed will eventually cross.
