Hey there, first post on Lemmy after joining cause of Reddit! Thought I’d share a (pretty bad) photo of my Player Tele. Got this August last year, coming from a Jackson JS22 (I believe?) Dinky, and a cheap Epiphone hand-me-down before that. Still absolutely love this thing. It’s a slightly weird choice for a black metal musician, but the versatility is amazing and my best song was made with this beauty!
The Tele bridge pickup can do just about any sound with the right effects in the loop. Glad you found it, and this community!
It really can! The neck is just beautiful for anything clean/not super dirty, and the bridge sounds just as good as my Jackson did with heavy distortion.
