A video of Donald Trump calling people close to Kamala Harris “garbage” has resurfaced after Trump criticized Joe Biden for using the same word against Trump supporters.

The clip was posted on X, formerly Twitter, by the anti-Trump conservative group The Lincoln Project. It shows a portion of Trump’s rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin, on September 7.

Trump discussed the possibility of Harris winning the presidency, and went on to say, “It’s not her, it’s the people that surround her. They’re scum. They are scum, and they want to take down our country. They are absolute garbage.”

    So the timeline is:

    1. To all the people around Harris: “They are absolute garbage”
    2. Let’s also call Puerto Rico an “island of garbage”
    3. We are too dumb to understand basic grammar, in response to the rhetoric in point 2. being called garbage
    4. Let’s near enough keel over trying to reach the door handle of a garbage truck

    Yep, that’s the Republican Party.

Maga sees themselves as both normal and better than everyone. The double standard is all they want and care about. Its why they fake outrage at “garbage” but cry like weenies when called “weird” and “creepy”

You know, he was at a church close to my neighborhood (in suburban Atlanta) earlier this week. That church looked just fine. It was painted a tan color with some darker accent color. About 2 weeks ago it was painted stark white.

      Interesting.

I find it fascinating that the one of the most consistent groups that I hear about playing hardball with Trump is a conservative group - The Lincoln Project. Like, do we not have any sort of “we play dirty” liberal groups that dig up shit like this to show Trump’s hypocrisy? The Lincoln Project is buying billboards, they are all over the news week after week? We need a liberal party with that same sort of girthy, 12" dick swinging energy.

It’s the Eric Cartman party. They’ve been saying things like this for years and a single taste of their own medicine (from an old man who probably didn’t mean to give it) and I hear Cartman falling on the ground crying.

It’s sickly funny in a way that the 268-270 SunBelt RustBelt scenario is probably the most likely Harris win scenario(it’s what the polls are predicting). Had a couple local politicians in Nebraska 2 months ago made a different choice and changed to Winner Take All that would be a 269-269 tie leading to a Trump win.

Newsweek - News Source Context (Click to view Full Report)

    Information for Newsweek:

Wiki: reliable - There is consensus that articles from Newsweek pre-2013 are generally reliable for news covered during that time. In 2011, Newsweek was a reputable magazine with only some minor problems while it was owned by The Newsweek Daily Beast Company (which also owned The Daily Beast). Blogs under Newsweek, including The Gaggle, should be handled with the WP:NEWSBLOG policy. See also: Newsweek (2013–present).
Wiki: mixed - Unlike articles before 2013, Newsweek articles since 2013 are not generally reliable. From 2013 to 2018, Newsweek was owned and operated by IBT Media, the parent company of International Business Times. IBT Media introduced a number of bad practices to the once reputable magazine and mainly focused on clickbait headlines over quality journalism. Its current relationship with IBT Media is unclear, and Newsweek’s quality has not returned to its status prior to the 2013 purchase. Many editors have noted that there are several exceptions to this standard, so consensus is to evaluate Newsweek content on a case-by-case basis. In addition, as of April 2024, Newsweek has disclosed that they make use of AI assistance to write articles. See also: Newsweek (pre-2013).
