If I just want to get rid of one book can I rent 1/30th of a shelf?

This article sparks so much thinking. First, dammit that guy snagged the illustrated book of cheeses before I got a chance to look at it. I’m sure I would have been in Japan at some point. Also my basement is way bigger than 570 sq ft. It’s mind-boggling that I could fit 364 bookshelves in there. Why am I so low on shelf space? My bad. Also it says most bookshops sell books that are popular because popular books make more money. Also some bookshops add a gym, and if the gym makes more money the gym becomes 90% of the shop, because that’s capitalism. So ok, why not use 90% of the bookshop to sell popular books since they make more money, and only rent out 10% of the shelves? In Bellevue WA there used to be a muffler shop where the owner setup a grill to make BBQ for lunch for his employees. It smelled so good, customers wanted to buy some, so he started selling BBQ, until eventually he turned the place into a restaurant (The Dixie Grill). The guy’s hot sauce, called “The Man” as in “meet the Man” was the hottest fucking thing I’ve ever tasted. edit: Dammit, I just checked, the Dixie Grill is gone. Sad.

    The end.
