I’m loving Janelle Monáe’s new album! I’ve been listening to her music since The ArchAndroid, and it keeps getting better.
Ok, bear with me here because it’s Finnish, but hey you’re on Lemmy you’re not afraid of new things! Ylivoimainen by Kuumaa. It’s the first thing I listen to on my morning walk every day and it’s just perfect.
Gloryhammer recently released a pretty great album. If you’re into Powermetal and/or outlandish sci-fi/fantasy stories than you should check it out. You can find most of their work on YouTube.

Honestly, the majority of exposure I get to new music these days is Radio 1 whenever the kids have it on in the car, so it’s all very mainstream.
Though I have been enjoying Cassyette’s output recently.
You ever tried Radio 6?
Haven’t tried it, to be fair; I think the fact that it’s over there on DAB is what makes me forget it exists.
Will have to make a note to tune in at some point, thanks.
I generally listen to R6 on the BBC Sounds app as we only have one DAB radio in the household and GF gets stroppy if I retune it.
I’m looking forward to the release of the first Do Nothing album at the end of the month! Their singles so far have been great
