This reminds me in some way of the 19th century when European wanted a part of Africa. It looks like neocolonialism between Russia and China. This time, they won’t take the power directly but the will have agreements making the government de facto some art of puppet govs.
It’s sad for the continent. They have so many resources and could make the local population at least outside the famine.
