Im half convinced autocorrect is AI and it changes things to the wrong word on purpose. It seems to have gotten a lot worse recently, with a lot of corrections that don’t make any sense at all.
I finally turned mine off last week.
Absolutely I’ve been convinced of this. It’s just sooo bad that any other explanation doesn’t seem right
tbh, I think it’s gotten worse because what feeds it has gotten worse. I’ll put in sh8t (shot) and won’t find anything wrong with that, lol. But it will definitely change piss to pitch.
It’ll add a word to your phones dictionary if you type it enough. If you write sh8t enough times it adds it as an alternative to shot/shit/etc. but then there’s the crazy changes it makes, like piss to pitch, that don’t make any sense.
They’re also censoring ’bad’ words which poses (ugh it did it there, pisses) me off. If i wanna say fuck then don’t change that. I’m a god damned adult and i paid for this fucking phone. Turning all that prediction and auto correct off now
