Women between the ages of 25 and 34 continue to be more likely than men in the same age group to have a bachelor’s degree. The gender gap in bachelor’s degree completion appears in every major racial or ethnic group, though the size of the gap varies widely.

I found this interesting [emphasis in original]:

men without a bachelor’s degree were more likely than women to say they just didn’t want to get one. In turn, women without a bachelor’s degree were more likely than men to say they couldn’t afford a four-year degree.

I can definitely see a lot of people who can’t afford college reporting that they just don’t want a degree, because that saves face over admitting that you can’t afford it.

And promise you all in America Trump team is going do everything in it’s power to strip women of this right to college. The people behind the scenes see women as property. Hell they are probably jealous of the Tailban and the way they control women.

how many of those men are just lying about not “wanting” a college education just to avoid admitting they “can’t” do it (for financial or other reasons)?

I also think that’s interesting considering I’d expected that, with all the financial assistance provided for women to study, the cases would be flipped.

Yes is insane, not the only study that says the men are “aimless” whereas the women take the wheel.
Honestly we’re doing a shit of a job maybe is time for the Girl takover IDK?

Either this is an example of male privilege or male ego.

That is interesting. I wonder what the 25-29 cohort would look like (thinking of the flat growth top left).

In general should a gap be expected given the wider opportunity for men in trades?

And yet there is a party that still says they should vote along the same lines as their dumbass husbands. In my country we have the same trend, yet the educated women still subject themselves to marrying nutjobs who impose misogynistic religious laws on their freedoms and liberties. Yay.

Maybe. The pay gap is mostly explained by what sorts of jobs men and women go for. Women go for flexible working conditions that pay less. So it comes down to whether men without degrees can still out-earn women with college degrees by working longer less flexible hours.

I’m not an expert, but I’ve seen conflicting studies on that. For example, I remember a recent study that showed that women in the same field with the same qualifications and years of experience still made less than men.

How about the political gap? One of the big trends to come out of the election was the big divide in terms of party and college degree.

Ah, but just wait until higher education in the U.S. stops being a thing altogether because it has been demonized by the ruling class.

My comment was removed for the reason “Troll” (and that’s fine if the mod interpreted it that way) but I am extremely disappointed in us men lately. The asinine things we say and do is maddening. I’m more than happy for women to take the lead in society for a couple hundred years. We could learn a thing or two from them.

What do men fear most about women? Being embarrassed by them. What do women fear most about men? Being killed by them. Until this changes, men have a lot of work to do. It’s on all us men to fix that. We’ve prided ourselves as being brave and strong, so surely we’re up to this challenge.

Even if both men and women are both capable of evil, that doesn’t mean men and women have done the same number and level of evil things throughout history. I’m willing to give them a shot at taking the lead for a bit.

Wow, I’m sorry you feel this way. You’re wrong, it’s embarrassing and pathetic, good for you for knowing your place. Why wouldn’t you just choose the best leader whether man or woman?

We don’t do that now. Men are far more preferred because they’re men.

Yeah, it sucks that men have almost no humility about this.

The insult was great though, thanks. That helps.

Yeah so instead of doing what’s logically correct, lets do the exact same thing but with woman? Your welcome enjoy your chair in the hotel.
