Fun fact: Skinheads aren’t racist by default. It’s largely an aesthetic subculture.
There are anti-fascist skinheads. There are black skinheads. It was originally a punk subculture.
“White power skinheads” ruined it for everyone, but I usually try not to use “skinhead” as a pejorative, having progressive skinhead friends that fucking hate that shit.
And the swastika means many things besides supporting Nazis, but shitheads have a way of ruining things. Your progressive skin head friends have an uphill battle and at some point you need to weigh your dedication to an esthetic vs the societally accepted message of hate you outwardly project.
There are probably a couple decent human beings on X for example, but I’m going to assume they are douche bags.
I’m all for swimming up stream but when your vibe overlaps with hate signaling it’s time to search yourself for some flexibility on your choices/look / etc.
