U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Russ Vought, a key architect of "Project 2025," the controversial conservative plan to overhaul the government, to be director of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget, a powerful agency that helps decide the president's policy priorities and how to pay for them.
This is the same guy who was caught on undercover video saying that Trump was only pretending to distance himself from Project 2025 and was, in fact, totally cool with it.
Ironically, he also said that Trump probably wouldn’t have him participate in the transition team because his name had become too politically toxic.
So much for that.
