Manchester United are increasingly worried that they will not be able to sign top target Harry Kane this summer, according to reports.

Erik ten Hag’s top priority this summer is to sign at least one new striker and has identified Tottenham superstar as his No.1 choice.

And though he is valued at upwards of £80million, United are willing to pay for him, with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich also interested in his services.

Kane would prefer to stay in England as he looks to break Alan Shearer’s Premier League goals record however there is one major obstacle blocking a move to Old Trafford: Daniel Levy.

The Tottenham chairman is determined to keep his talisman in north London, but moreover will not entertain the idea of selling him to a direct rival.

United are having slightly better luck in their pursuit of a new attacking midfielder, with personal terms agreed with Mason Mount but they are yet to agree a price for the 24-year-old with Chelsea.
