    Admiral Rickover famously did it with primary reactor coolant in front of Congress to start the nuclear navy…

    He knew it was dangerous, he knew it wasn’t healthy, but he knew he wouldn’t drop dead from it so he did it.

    I assume this was the same, and likely wasn’t even actual fracking fluid. As far as I know Rickover really drank primary coolant.

    It’s just insane that “drinking stuff to prove a point” has been a valid means of proving your point for decades.

        Rickover was 100% an asshole and I’ve cursed the name more than I can count.

        But they’re vastly different kinds of assholes.

    I’m getting less shocked by any of these people every day. Of course this guy drank fracking fluid. Because why not, right.
