Thank you for sharing his Op-Ed. I’m anxious to see the results of this case, because it’s exactly the thing I’ve complained about as an adult-my medical needs aren’t covered explicitly because I have a gender diverse diagnosis.
I have been denied coverage for gender affirming care by my health insurance as well, due to discriminatory state government policies. Unfortunately it’s not likely to be decided in our favor.
