spending money on a space program is great but only when homelessness and hunger doesn’t exist anymore.
I strongly believe in large infrastructure projects to improve communities, provide construction jobs etc etc. But the idea that the UK needed a space port is absurd.
*Two spaceports, relatively close to one another.
Glasgow is the biggest satellite manufacturing location in Europe, so it probably does make sense to have some kind of launch capacity nearby too. It just, as the other person already said, perhaps makes less sense to have two separate launch sites servicing the same market
