I’m curious how many active transmascs there are on here and want to get to know people better. Introduce yourself in the comments below. You can include anything you want.
Questions if you can’t think of any:
-Name
-Gender identity
-How long you’ve been transitioned/if you’ve transitioned
-Things that give you gender euphoria
-Where you’re from
-What you’re looking for in this community
-Random fun fact
I’m a binary trans man, 19 years old. Been about a year on T. Socially transitioned a while ago. Shaving my face gives me gender euphoria. Also building fires for some reason. I’m from the deep south US. I wanna see more trans masculine content and perspectives on here cuz the population is overwhelmingly transfemme. My hobbies include tinkering with Linux and computers, audio production, drawing, cooking, and tomfoolery. Want to get into outdoors stuff more.
Call me Fénix. I’m a nonbinary trans man, in my mid-30s, started T some ten years ago and been on it most of the intervening time. Based in Portland, OR.
Have had hysterectomy and bottom surgery but got a full torso tattoo instead of top surgery, heh. I get euphoria from a lot of kind of old-fashioned or formal trappings of masculinity, like neckties and the like, though because I work in a less formal setting my standard uniform is a Hawaiian shirt.
I’m here because being a transmasculine person on the internet can be pretty lonesome. There’s lots of spaces full of transfems, or cis queer people, but places I can hang with other trans guys are pretty limited, especially for the kind of geek who doesn’t go on Facebook or similar. This is a place I feel community.
Not sure if I even really belong here but here goes nothing…
Name - Jay is fine
Gender identity - transmasc nonbinary (it’s complicated)
Transition length - was 6 years on T, currently off T for reasons
Euphoria - idk, I feel pretty lost lately
From - Australia
Looking for - relatable content
Random fact - I can touch my nose with my tongue (is that a fun fact?)
Nah you belong here, this community is for everybody who falls under the transmasc umbrella. Welcome to the community
Hi, I’m just lurking at trans masc spaces on fedi, but decided to comment from my mastodon account, so I hope this comment federates well
I’m a Russian 21 year old nonbinary trans guy who has been 1 year on testosterone. My transition journey is quite interesting because I didn’t have as overt dysphoria as it is usually portrayed in media. For example, for me it wasn’t pure hatred of my body, but rather going through dissociative episodes. I felt “fine” as a cis woman until I realized that something better could be done.
Most gender affirming items are neckties and belts lol, I’m just a huge fan of suits in general.
Waiting for my moustache to grow 😭, but what I’ve already got is fat redistribution, some body hair, acne and low enough voice, which used to be one of my main sources of dysphoria, so I’m doing quite well.
With current events and the fact that I’m Russian immigrant in a country that also goes Russia-mode it’s quite unpredictable, but I have enough support to not go insane
Welcome! I’m also still waiting for my mustache hair to grow in too. I hope you find community and support in this space.
@cowboycrustation Thank you! I’m glad that there are alive (or at least semi alive) transmasc centered communities on fedi
