It is always fun to mod Minecraft heck it has its own huge community though your average player doesn’t tinker as much, but hey that something that Minecraft could improve upon the modding API.
Most people should just use CurseFordge even if it bothers you for that stupid Overwolf app. Its just convenient if you dont want to tinker but still play mods. I’m honestly just blown away how all these years later I can still relate to Minecraft with my own damn kids. Though they dont particularly like Skyblocks like I do.
Oh That’s awesome ,see imagine if your kids could easily tinker with the game even without programming knowledge or a simplified API for it wouldn’t that be great? And that’s just a small example for the potential this game has all game modes,mods, improvements, that could make Minecraft even more playable to an even bigger audience across generations these are the ideas I’d like to hear in this thread because it’s fun
Theres literally a click and install GUI now. They have command blocks now. IMO opinion those are the friendly steps to getting into it. They dont need another layer of obfuscation. They need a fun journey that gets them used to the reality. Minecraft does not need help getting bigger. People need less black boxes and more thoughtful exposure.
The Minecraft revolution already happened, Java is your gateway to anything imaginable. Just mod.
To bedrock players maybe , but as a java player too I think it’s reductive to just use mods to fix everything
I think it just offers open collaboration and voluntary usage of said fixes. But I mainly use mods to expand the game.
