I want every Vietnam themed game cut too, hell Spec Ops: The Line was already pulled due to music licensing IIRC
It’s disgraceful to glorify the massacre of unarmed people. They should also remove CoD MW2 for the “No Russian” mission.
I mean. No Russian didn’t glorify it at all. Didn’t even make you shoot.
It was a fucked mission for sure but you can go through the entire mission looking at the ground and not shooting
Sure, but it’s far from the only game that allows you to shoot innocent people. The only major difference is the narrative surrounding it IMO.
Good news, you can’t kill unarmed people in the game. I know it’s confusing given the title, but they don’t let you play as Israel so of course you cant kill unarmed people.
Fuck this game and fuck Hamas
Shitty “political” shovelware deserves the same respect as every other instance of shovelware on Steam. Everyone ignoring it.
It’s not shovel ware, it’s made by a victim of Israel.
That doesn’t mean it can’t ALSO be shovelware. It doesn’t look very good but it seems like it’s at least playable.
Basically. I didn’t know that the developer was Palestinian, as 404 merely mentioned the developer currently resides in Brazil, but yeah the point still stands. You can have a solo developer make a good game around a good message, a bad game around a good message, or any combination in between.
Its why the discussion around this game mildly annoys me, as the asset flip nature of the game really gives a sour comparison to other more famous games with “controversial” scenes. No Russian, for example.
Ultimately, yes people should be equally able to put out a bad game that tries to tell the story of Hamas as they are to put out CoD.
While true, it’s a single indie dev making an fps to show the story of why many participated in that day and why Hamas exists in the first place. It’s not going to have AAA graphics and amazing world building, it’s based in the real world.
