The idea is to keep accounts synced using an background service btw

Great idea, I plan to give it a try soon! One suggestion though is you need to figure out a better name since Sync for Lemmy is a well known app already and this will just confuse people.

Unfortunately it seems a lot of users need apps like this now, since the Lemmy network is heavily fragmented already.
That’s both a plus and a minus of the technology.
Would be nice with some visual map that shows which instance talks to which other instance, blocked communities, and so on.
For example, beehaw doesn’t federate with Lemmy.world. How will the users know this if they are new?

Why would I want to sync accounts across instances? Isn’t my content automatically federated?
The ideia isn’t to sync the posts and comments, it’s to sync subscribed communities, banned users/communities and saved content
