      Fumble

      It comes particularly in the phrase “fumble around”. When I google that phrase, the top snippet is:

      It means you are in the dark and trying to find your way by touch. You might knock some things over or fall over something because you can’t see what you are doing. “She woke up and fumbled around until she found her glasses.” You can also “fumble around in your pocket” looking for keys or money.

      Which is pretty much the sense in which it’s meant here.

        Yeah, I looked it up after I finished the puzzle and it makes sense, I was just unhappy with it because of my lack of exposure to that usage is all. Thank you for keeping these going, I really enjoy having a place to share and discover daily challenges.
