I can’t wait for the news about a protest-turned-violent again. Anyone wanna bet if the national guard will be deployed?

To be clear: I’m not saying the protesters will be the source of violence.

I am dubious that protesting can work. I mean go for it, but it didn’t take a protest to change BCBS’s mind.

I suppose this is a test. Option B worked, but I’d prefer a less violent option. If a protest doesn’t result in change, it’ll let everyone know that Option B might be the only course of action that actually works.

How many failed protests and movements are enough to determine if the tactic works?

I feel like we’ve reached that point. Honestly we reached it a decade ago. The civil rights protests were largely nonviolent but didn’t really gain traction until they were counter pointed with actual violence from the same side. Justified violence. They have never and will never listen to our voices. Only just enough to get us calmly walking out the door with reassurances so they can change the locks again.

And imagine if you have a large group all decide at once that option B is the only answer?

    Wear black?

Yeah make this look like a antifa/extremist thing, not like a group or normal people who just want to live without being extracted.

Don’t make the media’s job easy. You need people on your side to cause change in America.
