India’s progress owes much to community health workers, particularly women, who have been instrumental in reaching remote populations. Their culturally sensitive approach ensures female patients overcome social barriers to access healthcare.
Insecticide-treated mosquito nets (ITNs) and indoor residual spraying (IRS) have been key tools in malaria prevention. In 2023, India distributed over 1.1 million ITNs to reduce malaria cases.
It’s awesome to see such a significant reduction. Looks like it took a combination of mass preventive measures and better access to healthcare for sick people to make such a big impact.
Indeed! We had these IRS vans visit semi-regularly and it helps a lot in reducing the number of mosquitoes roaming around. Hell one IRS van visited just last week haha. Love to see news like this! Especially when I saw this happen in front of my eyes :p
Malaria is saving it’s strength for Trump’s America – it heard about RFKs aversion to modern medicine and is licking it’s chops in anticipation 🦠
Just wait for Bobbyshkali Kennedyrakshstar to join goverment
I think people come in this community to refresh from bad news.
What?
They wanted to make this about America so they “Indian-ed up” Robert F. Kennedy’s name for a joke it seems.
Thanks for the clarification.
Racist stereotypes aside, I have filtered out most US news from my feeds, so I was not aware of who this Robert character is.
