I disagree that the olof boost is cheating, tbh. It doesn’t use any external tools, wheres the cheat?
I suppose it comes down to the definition of “cheat”; as I recall, the consensus was that it was an unfair advantage because it made use of a one-way texture that allowed the CT’s to see the T’s, but not vice versa (let me know if I’m wrong on this, it’s been a while). Granted, it’s using stuff within the game, but is kind of not in keeping with the spirit of a pro match.
IIRC it’s not using one-way texture, but a pixel boost. T’s could see olof and they eventually figured it out in the match. I don’t remember now, but it was a gray area in turnament rules, so they were allowed to use it theoretically. They also sit on that tactic for months.
Tournament rules considering exploits cheating. The olofboost allowed you to clip and see through some geometry you aren’t supposed to be able to.
