      Like it or not, it’s kinda necessary for any semblance of league parity. I don’t feel like there’s any fairer way of doing it that would still result in a competitive league.

        Other leagues try to mitigate losing for picks with lotteries and all it does is make really bad teams even worse.

        Leave it alone.

        But a single word of tanking and everyone party to the conversation is banned for life. If it’s an owner, their ownership share is forfeited to the league outright without compensation.

        Relegation! College football at this point has nothing to do with actual education and is essentially just a minor league system for the NFL…so lets make that — the NFL Minor League. Top two teams in the minors go up and get the first 2 draft picks in the draft and the bottom two go down and can fight to make their way back up to the highest division.

        It works globally with other sports. There’s no reason it can’t work with American football

        If its not relegation, then lets go with a draft lottery
