Summary

A new WalletHub poll reveals that 74% of Americans believe Donald Trump’s proposed tariffs will worsen inflation, which remains a major concern for most households.

Trump’s plan includes significant tariffs—up to 60% on Chinese goods and 20% on other imports—to protect American jobs and address issues like fentanyl production and border security.

Experts warn these tariffs could increase consumer prices, with middle-income families potentially losing $2,500 annually.

Analysts caution Trump’s plans may face political hurdles in Congress despite his economic-focused campaign promises.

If that’s your response, then you have no basis to complain about abortion rights, Trump, or anything else. Everything and every injustice can be boiled down to “the world isn’t perfect,” so we might as well throw up our hands and just accept it all, right?

As I said in my other comment to you:

The 5 word responses that amount to little more than meme or bumper sticker phrases just proves that your position is indefensible.

I have no time for nihilistic political philosophy.

Whether you deny the nhialistic outcome or not, you can’t deny the reality of our situation and the trajectory of things.

It’s not an outcome, it’s a rejection of any and all sense of subtlety.

There is some corruption becomes “everything is corrupt”.

There is some setbacks becomes “progress is impossible”.

There are some bad actors becomes “the entire system is a swamp”.

It’s the “emo” political view and it’s pointless to discuss anything with.
