    The article mentions two or three anecdotes that were clear failures, but I haven’t seen studies showing a systemic problem. Do you have evidence of that?

        Those are anecdotes about people regretting their political choices. There isn’t any indication from your original BBC link that recipients of MAiD regretted their political choices. It mentions Sophia, but there’s no evidence that her chemical sensitivity or problems finding housing had anything to do with her political support.

        So far, this post hasn’t provided evidence that MAiD is being misused, or leopard face eating.

        Median age being 77 objectively means there isnt widespread abuse. That’s about the life expectancy of Canada.

          That doesn’t follow. The age of recipients doesn’t tell us anything about why they received MAiD, who initiated the process, or the protections built into the process.

          Considering how Canadian institutions have fucked up in the past, MAiD is worth keeping an eye on. But OP hasn’t provided anything showing a problem.
