From my understanding, any current smartphone should be compatible. As long as it has, I believe it’s the band 2, 1900 megahertz frequency, which most phones today and that have been sold in the past like 10 years do.
I’ll be curious to see which “select” smartphones will be eligible for the beta.

Supposedly any 4G or 5G phone is compatible.
I would imagine they will start with flagship phones to help drive adoption and will later open it up further.
